Because Avondale is spread over such a large area, one of the problems the home owner’s board was dealing with was how to connect all of the residents together. They tried Facebook with mixed results, and twitter turned out to be useless. The residents routinely needed a way to communicate with the board and that’s when they realized the needed a web presence that could allow that.
Only a few months after going live, the Avondale website has served hundreds of residents and has exceeded expectations. It’s helped organize events, sell local homes, increase business for the residents, as well as it’s intended goal; to help neighbors communicate more efficiently.
